May have already been delivered to my place of residence. Sadly I took the entire week (and both weekends) off for Thanksgiving! Which means I won't be home to see if it has come until december 1st....I guess this will gaurentee my return to the real world, right?

Things that I have learned in the HSKS6:

I don't like to use the internet from Thursday evening on...thereby missing important quidditch announcements and losing house points....but I don't really see myself changing that pattern.

30-40$ is barely enough to truly spoil someone. I hope that I was penny-wise enough to satisfy my swap partners desires.

It is so exciting to send mail!?!? I got to the PO with all my goodies, and was so excited to shove them into a box (I had to assure the PO lady that it was all squishy and it would fit) that I forgot to write a letter to my swap partner.

The dorms are really fun....

I need to save up my money so I can spend more legitimate time in the LYS browsing and picking out the perfect yarn. Something about buying it online is just not quite the same (for the yarn picking process or the pocketbook)

I don't like chatting. Now this one surprised me, because I am an avid fan of the instant messaging. I think it is the multiple people involved....

Browsing other people's blogs is really exciting. I like seeing what they are up to, how they craft their Hogwarts life and most importantly the lovely kits everyone gets.

My camera is buried somewhere, so I will probably have a capstone post of both the kits I got. I recently received a ROAK and its gorgeous, it actually made me wonder if she sent me her spoilees kit instead! Regardless, I will hopefully get my kit before I leave for the week of Thanksgiving (on friday) so I can take them both with me on the trip and maybe even take some pictures of them for everyone to delight in and feel jealous of!

So here is a question for you all out there...I had to wake up extremely early to finish a bit of homework (a rather large bit of homework, actually). And as I sit here, with it still dark outside, my cup of coffee and my mouth apparently wanting to catch some sort of insect, I wonder about in the HP books, when they wake up early to finish homework....how do they do it without an alarm clock? I'm not even going to touch the question of how do they get alert enough to do the work without coffee, but seriously, no alarm clocks? How on earth do they do it!

Many apologies to my fellow Slytherins....I have no Hogwarts worthy excuses for you, but my non-HP life was a bit too hectic to allow for interneting. I was busy moving on Halloween and the day after. My costume was mud from the bottom of the u-haul truck sticking on my pants and bruises from falling furniture. Luckily, I have already completed this week's assignment and included it below!

#1 What are the three important things in Chapter 13 Harry needs to remember?
Firstly that Tom Riddle showed contempt for what made him ordinary, like his name. Second that he did not have friends and was independent; Dumbledore does not believe Voldemort has ever had... or wanted... a friend. Thirdly that Tom liked to collect "trophies" and objects that were somehow unique and special.

#2 What did Merope sell when she was alone in London before the baby was born?
The locket that once belonged to Salazar Slytherin. Pity she only got ten Galleons for it.

#3 What does Mrs Cole like to drink?
Her beverage of choice is gin.

#4 What does Tom Riddle demand Professor Dumbledore do twice when they first met?
Tom insists twice that Dumbledore tell him the truth. The first time he is yelling; the second time, he appears to be slightly more in control of himself.
He also asks Dumbledore to do magic and Dumbledore demonstrates by lighting the wardrobe on fire.

#5 What did Mundungus nick from the Black house?
The locket Regulus had Kreacher steal, amongst other objects that are not specifically mentioned other than being "Black heirlooms", according to Phineas.
