everything's smelling like roses

While my dormmates have written splendid analysis of chapter 10, I wish not to repeat what they have said. For this reason, I will leave the importance of chapter 10 as being the mediator between chapters 9 and 11 (because I'm sure you all know that those two chapters are always fighting!).
